[Doi Sakazaki] Delusion Dreamer (English) [TL&ED: Nashrakh]

Doi Sakazaki rules pretty hard. Sad to see so much of his stuff hasn’t been translated yet – this is the first step though towards the goal though. There’s lots more really cool stuff of his out there. His latest tank, ‘Fool Girl’, is filled to the brim with awesome. Interesting gimmick: The protagonist’s name, Doisaka, is written with the same Kanji as the mangaka’s name, Doi Sakazaki. Hohoho, so did he project some autobiographic stuff in there? I, at least, find it a fun little thing to know. Beware, the end has a little mind fuck flavor to it.

On an unrelated side note, we’ll stop the (public) rewrite bashing effective immediately. There’s a multitude of reasons, but I’ll give you a tl;dr. We can’t be assed to argue with idiots anymore. Instead, we’ll sit back with a smirk on our faces, knowing those guys can’t touch us anyway. Let them fall back into the filthy and dimly lit shithole on the butt-end of the internet from whence they came. Nobody cares about them anyway, so why should we waste our time on them? As one guy at LWB said, making fun of rewrites is like making fun of a retarded kid’s drawings. And we won’t make fun of retarded kids anymore, will we? No, we won’t. It was fun though, because everyone knows we were spot-on about the points we made – but bullying the weak is something you shouldn’t do. Especially if they don’t even have the means to fight back, intellectually or otherwise.

That said, it won’t stop me personally to give some rewrites a proper translation. I won’t point that out anymore, though. If you don’t know it is, then nothing’s lost. And if you do, then you know why.

This has been translated and edited within half a day. A new personal record? Though I guess it’s still nothing compared to those speed translators doing ‘normal’ manga.

It was basically like this – wake up, see crappy rewrite on E-Hentai and people arguing over how haters should suck it up that people enjoy these horrible, atrocious abominations forged in the very depths of hell by what seems to be grade schoolers, completely lacking any sense of grammar and spelling. Editing shit with Paint and using Comic Sans to boot? You gotta be fucking kidding me. I was raging for like, two hours, until I decided to show people that translations are the only way to go. Accept no substitutes! FUCK REWRITES.

So I translated this in one session and Tornomer was a bro and edited this within a few hours. Thanks a lot, man. Also features some choice lines, my favorite being ‘I just shagged a cow!’.

I’ll keep the doujin description short. Dude’s mom buys a cow, and a friend gives him a pair of fake ears to turn this cow into a human.
