It was her mother. Who’d have thought her mother was such a sexy plump mass of fat, too? Our protagonist is going apeshit, but he’s confronted with the bitter truth – he betrayed his girlfriend. One round of DAWWW, please. They make up, have make-up-sex, and then the inevitable happens. Suffice it to say, the girl is pissed again.

On a more personal side note, I have rarely worked on something with a less likeable protagonist who was NOT a villain. This guy is just a plain asshole (“oh, I’m SO AWESOME”). And trust me, that means a lot for an LWB staff member to say that.

Release #185: [Ponkotsu Works] Catherine to! (Catherine)

The first ever widely available Catherine doujinshi, posted today and already translated by yours truly (what little there was to translate in the first place).

The game isn’t even out yet in the states, and I’m hoping we’ll see more of it. Catherine itself has a real sexy character design, and I think the whole thing would have a lot of potential for doujinshi.

I haven’t preordered the game yet, but who knows. At one point in time I will most likely own this game, that I am sure of.

Since I’m ranting about video games right now anyway, I’m currently playing NIER and it completely blows me away. While the graphics are not the best the current gen has to offer (mainly textures too bland in open fields), story and characters are the best I’ve seen in the current gen. Especially the character interaction is very well done, I’ve never seen a better voice acting job on a video game EVER, and the whole game is very atmospheric. Also, Kaine has such a foul mouth I get a boner every time she says something.

Chapter 5 of the “Koisuru Purinpai” tank by Andou Hiroyuki.

The story is about a young girl who’s smoking aces at tennis, and the school tennis club’s president wants her on the team. He challenges her to a match to decide whether she joins or not, and then something happens that makes anyone with family jewels cringe. He ends up in the infirmary, where he coaxes the girl into treating his “bruise”.

Rant time:

I only did this because Phantom of Trinity Trans blackmailed me into this ;_;

I hate GUST so much. I find the art lacking (just look at those friggen hands!), the “dialogue” is atrocious and there are no plots, ever.

Actually, I think GUST stuff is one of the few doujinshi that do NOT benefit from a translation at all because all they do is scream names at each other or moan like there’s no tomorrow. There are next to no sentences you can really work with as a translator, and so this makes for a really bland and boring but easy translation (I think I never finished a script this fast) .

I think GUST is fucking overrated. Even the tits he draws look fugly. Guess mainstream tastes just ain’t for me…

But, hey… if you get something out of this, go all out.

Note that this is group stuff and as such not exactly vanilla, but it’s all the same guy split into multiple parts, so I guess you can cut us some slack on this one.
